| To date the Foundation has funded over 60 grant requests from teachers and administrators in excess of $142,000 Following are a few of the enrichment opportunities funded by the LPHS Foundation this year:

Purchased a Printer for the Art Dept.

National Renaissance Conference – sponsor of 2 students

Purchased CD Rom "The Interactive Body" for the Science Dept.

Purchased a Laptop for Ell Ess Pe Yearbook staff

Purchased Novels to complement American Literature for the English Dept.

Purchased a Dual Purpose Microscope for the Science Dept.

Purchased educational materials such as maps, classroom videos, libray online subscription databases, science equipment, history series, transition curriculum and math materials.

Purchased classroom supplies such as calculators, dry erase boards, graphic arts and vocational equipment, bulletin boards, storage cabinets and showcases.

Purchased health and safety items such as defibrillators and weight training equipment

Purchased technology items such as computers, printers, LCD projectors and digital cameras.

Purchased fine arts equipment such as drum line and choir robes
These and yet to be defined educational opportunities will not be available for the benefit of LPHS students if not for the work of the Foundation. Our most precious resource is our young adults. Together we can continue to maintain a high quality educational program.
